ADX Fighter Wagnney Fabiano is back at WEC 52 to face the ever-explosive Bantamweight Joseph Benevidez. Benevidez is coming off a disappointing split-decision loss to Dominick Cruz at WEC 50. A world class grappler, Fabiano began his career in the IFL where he finished all six of his opponents. Fabiano’s WEC career began with a win over Akitoshi Tamura. Fabiano submitted Tamura with only 12 seconds left in the third round. The Brazilian born Fabiano’s next three wins went the distance. Fabiano is very dominant on the ground and likes to control opponents from the top position. This has led to some criticism of his “excitement factor” in his fights. The bottom line so far… kid gets the job done and fights his game.
With Cruz’ recent loss and Fabiano’s determination to make his fights more exciting, this WEC Bantamweight matchup should bring some fireworks.
