ADX up-and-coming star Wyatt Gibbs posted the second fasted speed trial time yesterday at Talega in the action packed SDDRL event. A solid crowd turned out Sunday beneath beautiful skies to watch some of the best young (and aging!) downhill chargers take to the pavement. Most of the wise, donned leathers while a select few of the Steeziest chose to risk skin and limb for the sake of fashion.
AND SO THE CARNAGE BEGAN…
ADX rider and Steezologist Brett Chiabattini donated a portion of his butt and hip to the pavement but kept the positive vibes and smiles flowing despite sucking up some serious burn. Leathers or not almost made no difference as Roger Jones had to make a precautionary trip to San Clemente Hospital for a head injury suffered on turn 1 even with a full face and leathers! Jake Fast went over the edge but was unscathed aside from a big hole in his leathers.
Everyone looked good out there and some pretty fast times were clocked. ADX rider Ralph Luna was looking good but was bested in the finals. Chance Gaul took first over Wyatt Gibbs but only by a narrow margin. Chance and Wyatt, as always, Doing what they do better than most and always with Steeze.
